Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering In this department, the two options begin from year three. It has 12 lecturers.

Mechanical Engineering Option
Mechanical Engineering has the following missions:

•    Master the designing and the manufacturing of mechanical parts of systems, the transformation and control of matters of work;

•    Master transfer, transformation and power use techniques within systems;
•    Know how to integrate elements of analogous and digital automation which are necessary to the functioning of mechanical systems;

•    Know and be able to use computer assisted designing and drawing tools.

Industrial Engineering Option
The missions of industrial engineering are :
•    Master the designing and realisation of the technical and economic aspects of units and industrial production line;

•    Know the techniques of quality control and associated norms, the techniques of reliability and of safe functioning;

•    Master the techniques of management in the industrial milieus, of the optimisation of operations and pre-emptive and curative maintenance relating to flux and production lines;

•    Master the techniques of human resources management for an optimum output of the production units which are under the responsibility of the engineer.
